Our Story
At Brooke’s Closet, we dare to defy the status quo of children’s fashion. We believe that every child has the right to diversity, accessibility and expression of self at all times, especially with the clothes they wear. Whether they are adventurers or superheroes, our designs take kids on a journey, exploring different colors and patterns. We empower children to have a youthful and playful lifestyle, and encourage individuality through options that suits their style, regardless of gender.
We are a contemporary children’s swimwear brand, keeping them in mind with everything that we do. We kick off our adventure with swimwear, aiming to contribute to a world where kids of all ages, backgrounds and ethnicities can have access to our product. All kids deserve to feel confident and stylish, whether they’re at the beach, the pool or playing in their backyard; we’re here to ensure that.
Meet the Founder
Born and raised on the vibrant island of Trinidad and Tobago, I moved to New York as a preteen but never left my Caribbean roots behind. Growing up, I was always drawn to the world of fashion — at one point, I even dreamed of becoming a model. Carnival hold a special place in my proudest creative skills is building Carnival costumes entirely from scratch.
The idea for Brooke’s CLOSET came to me during my final year of collage, shortly after becoming a mom. My daughter Brooke was just two years old when I realized that the kids swimwear space lacked the style, comfort, and fun I wanted for her. What started as a spark quickly grew into a brand — one that lets children feel like their most playful, carefree selves at the beach or pool.
Today, as a mom of two, both my daughter and my son inspire every decision I make with Brooke’s CLOSET. While my love for women’s fashion hasn’t gone away, my passion has found a new purpose — designing thoughtful, stylish, and age-appropriate swimwear that truly celebrates childhood.
At Brooke’s CLOSET, everything is made with kids in mind — because they deserve to look and feel their best while simply being kids.
